Backstory for Arthur's Adventures

Arthur was a background character from the mobile/PC game “Unicycle Escape” (A project previously created and can be viewed here). Day-in, day-out, Arthur’s only job was to feature as a banker in the introduction sequence of a bank robbery, played on the screens of millions! Never anything more or anything less, Arthur was unable to venture outside of this repetitive loop, where he was disregarded, unseen and hidden in the darkest corners of glass screens. Unknown to the world, Arthur began to develop feelings, thoughts, dreams and desires – He wanted to listen to music, feel the sun on his pixelated skin, immerse himself in books and games, cook and try foods that he had seen so many of his players indulge in – Most importantly however, Arthur wanted to Adventure. One day, Arthur’s mundane life altered dramatically, as Arthur was sitting behind his usual desk at work, he heard a loud bang, the floor started shaking and his world began to crumble... all of a sudden, Arthur found himself sitting outside of the glass screen that once contained him
